ABOUT US
T.U.R.N. is a non profit community development corporation which consist of two (2) phases, community outreach and educational outreach. Over the past 10 years, your generous support has helped us accomplish our mission and our goals.
T.U.R.N in its capacity to support children, has a host of enrichment programs aimed at developing the academic as well as the socio-emotional development of students through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) activities. Our target audience consists of youth who are at risk, and individuals who are socially economically disadvantaged. Our goal is to partner with individuals and organizations to create positive change within our communities.

Our after school tutoring program meets with students to clarify and review concepts taught in class, explain processes and help students solve specific problems.
The mission of the Children’s Defense Fund (CDF) is to ensure every child a healthy start, a head start, a fair start, a safe start and a moral start in life.
When you give to this cause, your support helps us with our monthly expenses to include but not limited to: lease payments, utilities, office supplies, staff, transportation, gas and insurance.
When you sponsor a child or family , you will have an opportunity to meet the child and their parent/guardian. You will also receive quarterly academic progress and updates throughout the school year.
When you give to this cause you will help us retain and hire certified teachers and experienced tutors throughout the school year. This will ensure that our children receive the additional assistance in bridging the academic gap in literacy and math.
